Perry Williams

Perry Williams, 67, of Monticello died July 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 24, 1951 to the late Fred and Georgia Williams in Rosston (Nevada County).

He served for two years in the U.S. Army, then joined the Army National Guard. In 1990, SSG Williams went into active duty as Support of Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as a medic for the 148th Evac Hospital.  He was awarded Honorable Discharge in May of 1991. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Ervin Martin, John Martin and John S. Williams.

Survivors include one brother, Jerry (Brenda) Williams of Rosston; five sisters, Naydean (Walter) Blakney of Little Rock, Jane Weston of Sherwood,  Betty Williams of Prescott, Linda Thompson of Monticello and Rose (Eddie) Frazier of Texarkana, Texas.
